Lucas is an experienced Portuguese language instructor who has been teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language since 2020, working with learners from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting with a specialization in Brazilian and European Portuguese, alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in Portuguese as a Foreign Language focused on learner-centred methodology and curriculum design. In parallel with his teaching career, Lucas has provided professional Portuguese–Japanese interpretation and translation services in legal and international contexts across Europe and Asia, an experience that strongly informs his practical, accuracy-driven teaching approach.
