Beyond teaching, Kay has compiled North Korean defectors' stories into a book and written essays on travel and culture.

Tina, a confident and enthusiastic native Chinese language trainer and translator based in Oakville, holds a Training Qualifications UK certificate along with a certification in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. enjoys creating an interactive learning atmosphere, as well as stimulating her students’ interest in the language with diverse activities.

Nicole, based in Edmonton, excels as a native French language instructor. She obtained her Master’s in French from the University of Paris, France, and pursued further education with a PhD in Romance Languages and a B.Ed. in French immersion, both from the University of Alberta, showcasing her deep commitment to language education.

Born and raised in Sri Lanka, and now based in Oshawa, Angeline is a native Tamil language teacher who earned her Diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) in Accounting from the JF Kennedy Adult Education Centre in Montréal, QC. She boasts teaching experience in a variety of educational settings, including colleges and primary schools.

Based in Burnaby, Cicely is a seasoned native English language tutor with over a decade of experience in learning strategy, facilitation, and educational content design. She holds a BA in Modern European Studies and Russian from UBC and a Journalism certificate from Simon Fraser University. Maria, a passionate, Toronto-based Spanish language instructor, has 8 years of experience teaching diverse age groups, including children, adults, and seniors with cognitive decline. Highly qualified and committed, she holds a degree in Education and is pursuing a Master's in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. Maria focuses on creating dynamic, enjoyable lessons that support students' individual learning paces.

Based in Calgary, Olayinka is a dedicated language trainer passionate about preserving Yoruba culture through language. With a background as a Chemistry teacher, she specializes in teaching young children in the diaspora, particularly those in early childhood and primary years. Olayinka’s dedication ensures learners connect with their heritage while developing a strong foundation in Yoruba.
